Guide Dogs “Nell’s First Day.”

A film for Guide Dogs UK to raise awareness of the incredible work that they do to help children with sight loss.

The little girl, Nell, was absolutely wonderful. She came all the way from Wales into Central London with her mum to film this advert.

Her visual impairment meant that she could only really make out very strong lights and colours. When we first took her on set, the powerful lights that we use for filming absolutely fascinated her - she stood really close to them and kept saying how beautiful they were.

Myself and the crew were all moved watching this small girl standing so close to and staring so intently at these lights. I think it made us all realise how hard it must be for someone like Nell to enter a completely new space.

Nell was very brave to turn up on set that day and and she coped so well with the exhausting hours of filming.
